(K-5th) Bubbles are just plain fun but they're
also a fascinating way to learn about basic science inquiry skills and some important
physical science concepts. We'll have a blast producing various bubble creations
and also learn how to use a variety of household and recycled items to experiment
with bubbles. [more] |
(2nd-5th) We take the hands-on experience to new
heights as students measure, mix, and mold their own space-age materials. Along
the way, they'll learn about molecules, state change and the nature of chemical
reactions. [more] |

(K-5th) In this fun and fascinating adventure, students
hear tales of some of the mythical beasts and legendary heroes that inhabit the

(1st-5th) Students learn about some "fun"damental
principles of architecture as they are challenged to engineer their own tower
out of the materials supplied. We'll introduce some real-world examples using
the very same engineering principles. [more] |
(K-4th) Students are introduced to fascinating
ideas of light, reflection, symmetry and more in an environment of experimentation.
Then, they put these principles into practice as they build their own take-home
kaleidoscope step by step! [more] |

(2nd-5th) Students get a chance to become real
forensic scientists as they extract actual animal bones from sterilized owl pellets
to determine the type of prey consumed. They'll get a chance to examine the remains
up close and reassemble the pieces to form their own take-home art. [more]
